Summary

A pool area can lose its appeal when crowded by overgrown shrubs and tired plantings. For this Stamford home, we were asked to clear out the old growth and create a refreshed, inviting border with carefully chosen plants.

The Work

Removed existing overgrown shrubs and unwanted plant material, including digging out root balls as accessible
Cleared and prepared planting beds for new plant installation
Supplied and installed a mix of dwarf hydrangeas, boxwoods, catmint, and ornamental grasses
Excavated planting holes, amended soil as needed, backfilled, and provided initial watering

The Outcome

The space around the pool now feels open and thoughtfully arranged. The new plantings offer a balanced mix of structure and color, setting the stage for future growth without overwhelming the setting. The area feels clean and organized, making it easier to maintain and enjoy.
