Summary

This project called for a series of masonry installations to upgrade both the front and back entries of a home. The homeowner wanted lasting materials and refined finishes to improve both function and appearance.

The Work

Installed a bluestone walkway at the front entry, set and leveled over an existing concrete slab with concrete joint finishing and caulked expansion joints
Built a back bluestone patio and steps, applying the same installation and finishing standards as the walkway
Applied stucco to all new concrete step facings and unfinished exterior concrete walls after prepping with water proofing and metal lath
Laid Belgium block curves around two driveway turn radii with precise leveling and joint work
Constructed a dry stack grill box using block and face stone for a durable outdoor cooking area

The Outcome

The property gained well-built, visually unified outdoor spaces that blend hardscape with the home’s exterior. Each upgrade improved durability and brought a clean, cohesive look to high-traffic areas.
