Summary

A tired front garden can take away from a home's curb appeal. For this Katonah property, we were asked to prepare and refresh the area under the bay window with new plantings and a clean, finished look.

The Work

Cleared and cleaned up the existing garden bed, removing weeds and debris
Outlined and prepared soil for planting, including application of root fertilizer
Planted 2 Dwarf Alberta, 4 Boxwoods, 1 Hydrangea Annabelle, 5 Astilbe, 5 Catmint, and 3 Lime Green Sedum
Installed and leveled black mulch to a uniform depth for a polished finish

The Outcome

The front garden now frames the house with a well-balanced mix of evergreen and flowering plants. Fresh mulch keeps weeds down and helps retain moisture, while the variety of textures and heights gives the entry extra character. The space feels cared for and ready for the season.
