Summary

A plain driveway edge can leave a property feeling unfinished. This project called for a fresh approach: remove old weeds and overgrowth, then introduce plantings that would bring structure and color. The homeowner wanted a garden that would look tidy and welcoming year-round.

The Work

Removed existing plants and weeds along the driveway, disposing of all debris
Prepared soil and applied root fertilizer for optimal plant health
Planted a mix of Dwarf Alberta, lavenders, pink spirea, Annabelle hydrangea, Little Lime hydrangea, and dwarf Japanese spirea
Refreshed garden bed edges and installed a uniform layer of black mulch for a finished look

The Outcome

With the weeds gone and new plantings in place, the driveway now has definition and a natural border. The mix of shrubs and flowers creates visual interest and seasonal color. Fresh mulch gives the space a polished finish, making the entrance more inviting.
